Barreal Andean paradise in Argentina

The San Juan province of Argentina is known for its eternal Valley of the Moon. However, it has a beautiful pearl stored under lock and key, rather, surrounded by the majestic Andes. That place is Barreal, and has nothing to envy to its neighbouring provinces because it has major rivers, mountains, countryside inns and even a national park.

Barreal gives us a warm welcome with a walkway lined with poplars. They breathe peace in their entirety. I recommend taking a few minutes of rest at the inn San Eduardo. From luxurious country style, this inn is in a Formula 1 racer, Ricardo Zunino. So there are plenty of photos and newspaper clippings of his heyday.

It will hold, as Mendoza-highest peak in the Americas, Aconcagua, but San Juan is proud to have its Cerro Mercedario with the year 6770 meters with its snowy peak. The National Park Leoncito has become the ideal site for astronomical observations, even has his own observatory. If we look a little sport in Barreal, “our game we have called.”
